JURY TRIAL: PRIOR FELONY CONVICTION CONSIDERED FOR IMPEACHMENT

Where a witness has a prior felony conviction, the court may permit the jury to learn of the conviction to help it decide whether to believe the witness or not. In such case, the jury is not to consider the conviction for any other purpose.
